Why AOR Advanced B Complex?
AOR is taking B vitamins to a new health level! With the same recognized group of eight essential vitamins enhanced with Choline and Inositol. AOR’s Advanced B uses lipid-soluble and bioactive forms of B vitamins, making its recipe 5 times more bioavailable than other traditionally used formula.
Let’s Break Down AOR Advanced B Complex
A car cannot operate without the transmission fluid; similarly, the body cannot function properly without B-vitamins. There is a great deal of organic activity which a B-Complex performs in the body, with an overlap in function with respect to the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. AOR’s advanced B-Complex formula targets our overall health, with a focus on supporting our brain and nervous system, developing healthy red blood cells, maintaining skin, hair and muscle tone, and supporting all immune function and hormone activity. Each component utilized in this B-Complex formula plays a vital and specific role within the body. Let’s explore these vitamins further…
Thiamin (B1) - Required to convert glucose and amino acids into energy as well as to develop red blood cells and maintain muscle tissue. Thiamin is converted by the body into its active coenzyme form thiamin pyrophosphate (TPP). Thiamin deficiency has been linked to Type II Diabetes.
Riboflavin (B2) - Used as an aide in the treatment of neonatal jaundice and has recently been added to anti-migraine category as well. Symptoms of a deficiency in riboflavin include sores around the mouth and swelling of the throat, cracked lips, and inflammation of the tongue.
Niacin (B3) - Plays an essential role in cell repair, removing toxins from the body, and assisting in hormone production. Niacin is also effective at inhibiting the release of unwanted low-density lipoproteins (LDL cholesterol) into the blood from the liver, making it the choice vitamin for those with hyperlipidemia.
Pantothenic Acid (B5) - B5 is needed to form coenzyme A which is central to the Kreb's cycle and subsequent cellular respiration and energy production.
Pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (B6) – P5P represents the stage at which B6 has been converted into a coenzyme, and is a facilitator more than 110 known essential enzymatic reactions in the body. Among these processes is the absorption of amino acids tyrosine, glutamine, cysteine and glycine. P5P is also used for proper metabolism of essential fatty acids as well as the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters, offering optimal cognitive function to its users. A deficiency in vitamin B6 can lead to anemia, depression, hypertension, elevated levels of homocysteine and water retention, insomnia, irritability, muscle twitching, convulsions, and kidney stones.
Methylcobalamin (B12) - Vitamin B12 has distinguished itself among the B-vitamins with its specific effects on our neurological health. B12 is also very important to the methylation cycle. The successful studies with B12's neuroprotective and neurogenerative benefits were conducted with the active coenzyme form of B12 found in AOR’s advanced complex.
AOR’s Advanced B-Complex Goes Beyond the Bs
Folic acid (5-Methyltetrahydrofolate) is needed for the synthesis of new red blood cells (which carry oxygen throughout the body) and DNA and is often recommended during pregnancy, as it reduces the risk of neural tube defects such as spina bifida in the fetus. A deficiency in Folic Acid may lead to a specific form of anemia caused by the inhibition of DNA synthesis in red blood cell production.
Biotin is another B vitamin that is involved in the metabolism of protein, carbohydrates and fats, and is best known for its positive effect on our hair, nails and skin.
Choline is a nitrogen-based organic compound that is often grouped with the B-complex, playing an important role in the structural integrity of cells as well as in the movement of essential lipids across cell membranes and in the synthesis of the key neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
Finally, with AOR’s addition of Inositol, a chemical compound which uses its polyphosphates function as the basis for many signaling and secondary messenger molecules.
In summation, the AOR’s B-complex family of vitamins is critical to processing and disseminating the fuel required to keep the human body in constant operation. Maintaining the proper intake of this unique B-Complex formula is undeniably necessary for sustaining optimal operation and overall health.
