After being introduced lime soon because a favourite, due to its therapeutic value and taste. Traditionally lime oil has been used as a remedy for indigestion, heartburn and nausea. Its purifying scent is known to have a cooling effect and can often be found in cough and cold remedies.

Uses
In aromatherapy this versatile essential oil can be used in variety of applications. Lime oil can be added to your favourite cleanser for a refreshing clean feeling helpful for clearing acne and oily skin. It can also be mixed with creams and lotions for zesty aroma that helps promote circulation and prevents varicose veins. Lime oil also makes a delightful room fragrance encouraging mental clarity alertness and help life feelings of depression and light mood.

Lime Oil is Invigorating

These articles are so lovely and helpful. I am a great fan of essential oils, but I am especially fond of Lemon, Orange, and Lime essential oils, so any information on them is a bonus. The scent of Lime is like the article brings out, invigorating, and provides mental clarity. The article also reminds me that like most essential oils, it should be mixed with a carrier oil. The carrier oils are also sold at nationalnutrition.ca. Perfumes can also be made from lime essential oil.
