It is interesting to think about what it is like, to schedule an appointment with an aromatherapist. I got a diffuser and do use the candles that have nice and natural scent sometimes. And yes like most people I do go to the doctor and dentist for health purposes. I have been to some specialists for things. But I never thought about signing up for an aromatherapist. And maybe that would be a useful thing as they are experts in it and smell is something that has a big effect on me. At least I think it does. I wonder and will have to look into if that and other natural therapists can get covered my my insurance. It would be a good thing to know, about if these doctors can be covered, since I prefer natural solutions

Wow! What a popular article. The comments section sure is bustling. I am no expert in aromatherapy but as a microbiologist I have been consistantly amazed by the antimicrobial properties of many aromatherapy staples. Also, as a person with a good sense of smell, the appeal of aromatherapy lures me with its attractive scents. Thank you for providing such great resources on the topic. It has been difficult for me to get into being busy (I pruchased a diffuser but it was too much work)....however, I did just get a candle-warmer as a gift from my Brother and I will be seeing if there is any way that I can use aromatherapy oils with the candle warmer, so I can get some of the benefits!

I have been using essential oils for years focusing on how they relieve stress such as lavender as well as rosemary. I mix the oils with coconut oil and massage into my skin whenever I have pain or sore muscles. I also add it with water and make a spray but that is not as effective as oil and water dont mix as well as oil and oil. I like it nice and strong. That way it's not just he scent but the powerful effects that make aromatherapy and essential oils such a worthwhile investment.
