      <description><![CDATA[Brain and brawn or muscle and mind are often put at separate, but really they are not. That is so clear to anyone who really cares about health and definitely clear in your articles. Exercise is one of the very best things for the brain. And, there is something here in this that makes the brain and muscle connection even clearer to me. It is the amino acids being neurotransmitter parts. We always talk about how the protein is a good thing for building muscle. Protein, protein, protein for the muscle. But it is for the brain too. It is like you say " healthy diet is key to a healthy body, the brain being no exception."]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Diet is SO IMPORTANT for brain health so I really appreciate that you devote a full two paragraphs to this topic. Antioxidant rich foods, especially berries, have been associated with imporved cognitive outcomes in large cohort studies. Lecithin is another important nutrient for the brain health and I appreciate you mentioning that in addition to being found in egges, lecithin, or c, also found in healthful plant-based foods including wheat germ, oats, and flax. Soy, I should like to add, is an excellent source of lecithin and thereby choline. Soy is notable is it is a great source of plant-based protein and flax is excellent as a source of healthful omega 3 fatty acids, which, as you mention, are excellent for promoting brain health]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Brain health supplements are worth taking to improve cognition. I also play brain games online, strategy games, as well as a site called Luminosity, which allows you to complete challenges. It's interesting Gaba and Theanine are suggested, although useful, they do tend to slow my brain down a bit, as well as my body, it all just slows down before sleep. Never taken it during the day. I will have to find a way to maybe take Gaba with B Vitamins, that way I can get the benefit to the brain without getting too slowed down.]]></description>
