I like the distinction you draw: ‘straight’ chiropractor and ‘therapeutic’ chiropractor. The first type, working specifically with the spine itself and the second type, focusing more on the musculoskeletal system as a whole with a holistic approach. It makes sense that with the different focus, more specific vs more broad, that an osteopath might recommend a wider array of treatment types. I can imagine that for somebody experiencing trouble with the spine, it could be valuable to try both or consider switching practitioner types if it is not working, the therapy

I didn't know the difference between chiropracty and osteopathy-it sure does make sense that the two both get confused since they are both targeting the spine for optimal health. Thank you for making me aware of how their modes of treatment vary. This is good for me to know as I have friends and family who experience back pain and it is good for me to, because of theis, have background on different ways how to treat the condition. Thank you for another great article!
