When I hear someone not believe in global warming, it makes me angry. The changes associated with climate change are already happening and destroying the health of millions. It is sad, that this sort of enrivonmental change is ignored. And, that it is something that affects the poorest people the most. These poor people are often so much less involved in creating the pollution that harms them than others, ironically. Thank you for bringing attention to this important matter of how environmental health influences our own health. I hope it becomes more well known. Awareness is key

Hello Rachel,
Agreed, while it's important to care for the environment to keep our planet healthy, it's also important due to the negative effects pollution has on our own health. It's great to hear you you could learn more about which plants purify the air you breathe, hopefully you can find some to keep in your home. We think you'll also enjoy this article: https://www.nationalnutrition.ca/articles/health-concerns/plastic-toxicity/

As someone deeply concerned about the health of our environment, it was interesting for me instead of thinking about the harm pollution does to the environment, the harm it can do to our own health. I did not know that the specific plants bamboo palm, dracaena, Boston fern, ficus ali,English ivy, peace lily, spider plant and rubber plant all are good for purifying the air. Your note to not spray your lawn is great advice and one I can say is important as someone whose mother raises monarch butterflies-when neighbors spray, the catepillars stuggle to survive and butterflies can be defective. On that note, it is actually possible to get your lawn certified as a wildlife habbitat, which is something my mother is looking into :D
