      <description><![CDATA[Biotin is not only good for hair. I take it with other B vitamins as part of a B complex smoothie. It's a yogurt based smoothie. On other days I take another smoothie which I add salmon collagen, msm, this one has vitamin c as it's lemon based. It's also full of seeds and nuts for the vitamin e. Alongside vitamin c, this smoothie has Bioflavinoids. I add kelp to Japanese food when I order it, and take grapeseed extract, as well as match green tea. Getting my hair back is important otherwise it's a shaved head for the rest of my life.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Thank you for your notes on hydration, NN! I did not know before I read your article that approximately 6% - 14% of the weight of hair is made up of water and that this fluctuates depending on the surrounding humidity as well  as if hair has been dried or not.  Over the last year, my mother taught me the beauty trick of in the morning, after brushing my hair, in order to promote its health and reduce frizz, to use a spray bottle filled with water and spray my hair to give it moisture. I usually spray my hair about 100-150 times since it is long but this has sure been worth it because my hair has become curly and lovely instead of a frizzy mess. And, having a curling cream with healthy fats and hydrating properties for when I want to make my hair extra nice is another hair booster :)]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Who knew that hair was so complicated? I always shed hair in the shower and basically all the time but I never thought that my poor diet could be a contributing factor to this. I have taken biotin tablets previously in hopes of it helping to strengthen my hair and prevent fall outs however, I just find that biotin alone is not enough. It's good to have a list of supplements in combination that I can take with biotin to see if it will help.]]></description>
