Great article. One aspect that felt lacking to me, though, was the amount of clinical trial/research evidence. For example, in the fiber section, you mention that fiber can be helpful iin recovering from IBS and mention generally health promoting mechansims of action for fiber but do not provide evidence specific to IBS populations. You also mention a fiber supplement which could be helpful, though in IBS soluble and insoluble fibers can have different health effects for different people and so fiber tolerance is a concern there.

This said, lots of good information in this article and I appreciate the tips! Also, like Hassan, I have had a good experience with Wheatgrass powder.

Hello Hassan,
Digestive health is very important and a key component to overall well-being. We're glad you enjoyed the tips in our article and have found supplements to support this concern. Both are great for gut support, as is Glutamine and probiotics to repair the gut.

You can learn more about those supplements here:

All these tips are great. I have had great results from slippery elm and wheatgrass juice powder which I have bought from this site for a family member. Slippery elm helped but the the wheatgrass juice powder made a big difference in his digestion. I highly recommend it. Our digestive health is linked to so many other things, so it's important that it's in optimal health.
