      <description><![CDATA[I love this statement from the Naturopathic Doctor/holistic nutritionist writing this article. As an MIT graduate and current PhD student who is exposed to much literature on biological function &amp; nutrition through my studies, I could not agree more that iron deficiency certainly should not be self-diagnosed especially as too high levels of iron can be toxic and also can contribute to poor outcomes for brain health, eg dementia risk (unfortunate as so many processed foods are iron-fortified...and one more reason to avoid processed food) Thank you for another great article and for IRONing things out in this one, NN Team! ;)]]></description>
