      <description><![CDATA[As a women concerned about promoting my own health, I was happy to see this article and excited to learn from it! 
I did not know that a diet high in animal products actually inhibits the excretion of excess estrogens from the body since animal protein also slows intestinal transit time (and this slowing of transit time enables the resorption of hormones). Also, I did not know that GLA from borage or primrose was a good aid for women's health. Finally, I had not heard about liver support formula with milk thistle, d-glucarate, and indole -3 carbinol for clearance of excess estrogens but now I'm a little bit wiser; thank you for another great article, NN!]]></description>

Menopause sometimes brings along with it irregular, or changes in a woman's cycle.  This generally has to do with natural hormone fluctuations, but can also be aggravated by hormone imbalances, such as estrogen dominance.
