I love all of the natural, flavorful components that go into this recipe: that is something which makes any recipe sure to be flavorful. Bison meat is something I have never tried before and never will as I am plant-based. I am going to have to look into it for the meat-eaters in my life. If it is more sustainable then beef, I might want to convert my Father to a bison lover; thank you for the tip-off here. It sounds interesting and I recall hearing something good about bison meat nutrition too!

Hello, OH,

Thrilled you've been enjoying our recipes, it's nice to find new ways to cook in the kitchen and switch out ingredients to make it your own. Seitan would be an excellent meatless base for this recipe. This would also be an excellent side dish to serve with this recipe:

I love how these articles include the health benefits and vitamins that are found in the ingredients as it helps make you more aware of what foods to include more of in your diet! This is a fun way to add a different spin on a classic dish, and Bison can be subsitute for anything you would like, I wonder if tofu would be a good option too!
