While I eat around a pound of green vegetables every single day, I don't normally make salads. So, I appreciate you providing great salad recipes to get started. I agree with the comments that this is a unique and balanced recipe that gives a great template for a salad: there is a touch of sweetness from fruit as well as honey, crispness and freshness from both the cut pear and the almonds, nuttiness & a hint of floral flavor from the almonds plus honey, craveable savory notes from the feta...this salad has everything!!!: I love the mix and also like your note that other nuts can be substituted for a variation on this recipe :)

Hello,

This is a nice fresh salad for Spring. You can also add sliced beets to it as well to add more flavour and health benefits. You can also increase the protein content by adding these tempeh croutons:

This pear, feta, and almond salad is a great combination of ingredients that I would not of normally thought to put together. I love adding feta to my salads because it taste great and adds a little but of salty-ness that I love. The almonds are a great idea for a healthy addition of healthy fats and proteins to tide you over and the pears add a nice sweetness and crunch to the salad as well. This is great idea of a nice fresh spring salad!

I am always looking for healthy and delicious salads to serve my family. This is a very interesting salad with a variety of tastes and added crunch. Providing alternative foods for the novice salad maker is very helpful. This salad has a taste for everyone and the nutrients are many to be enjoyed. I am a National Nutrition customer and this is the first time I am reading the recipes which provide food packed with nutritional value. Now I am aware of this site, I will be referring to it in the future.
