I am plant based now. But, I remember in high school how very much I loved salmon. I particularly enjoyed a blueberry glaze. I like the flavor of raspberry more than I do the flavor of blueberry and so I imagine that I would have enjoyed this recipe very much. I appreciate the addition of pecans as well; they are such a rich and flavorful nut. Now, I am wishing that I could enjoy this recipe but I will just have to imagine what it tastes like

Hello,
We are glad that you learned more about salmon in this recipe. This fatty fish is a good alternative and offers many nutrients, plus this glaze is unique and really pairs well with the salmon flavour.

Enjoy!

Salmon is such a great meal option because of how healthy it is for you with the Omega 3 and healthy fats along with protein. I did not realize salmon had Selenium in it either, so this is a great incentive to get it in your diet more often if you are not eating enough foods with Selenium. The raspberry glaze is a great idea to make it a fresh taste, instead of only using citrus like lemons, the raspberry is a great spin on this and great for a warm night.
