I did not know that teas and capsules take so much longer than liquid formulation herbs in order to be absorbed (eg >8 hours for full effect versus within an hour). And, I didn't realize that herbal teas generally aren't the best way to get an effective dose of active, clinically relevant ingredients-I wonder how effective tumeric teas are in this regard, specifically? Also, I have never heard of St. Francis herb farm or the idea that each herb has its own energy so I will have to read more about that.

I love Medicinal Herbs. I can confirm the best tea brand on here is Celebration Herbals. I think they have 50 types on here at least. I have tried most of them. Some are on backorder or have been out of stock for months. Others can only be ordered on the phone through a transfer order. A few seem impossible to find anywhere, like Bilberries or Cornsilk. But, I'll find them, eventually. For tinctures, I can confirm New Roots is the best. St. Francis is OK, they have a large selection, unlike New Roots. But I found the quality and taste to be better with New Roots tinctures. I don't even bother with the dropper, I just take a shot directly from the bottle. I started out with a few drops, but my tolerance went up, especially for Passion Flower, Skullcap and Valerian. These tinctures go fast.
