Yes you can; however, iron is best absorbed when taken with a source of vitamin C. It is also important to have blood work done to test your iron levels before taking an iron supplement (if you haven't already).

      <description><![CDATA[I take Iron Biglycinate, it's the only form I know, I have it from two brands, new roots and now, I like the new roots better which is often the case between these two brands. I always take it at night when I am not taking calcium/mag, I take that on other nights. I take iron as a shot with vitamin c like diluted lemon juice. It doesn't hurt my stomach at all. I take it on an empty stomach just so I can feel what it's like and what it's doing inside my body. That perception is weakened if I take it with food. I am happy it's the gentle kind.]]></description>
