Hello Kaveh,
Love hearing you're enjoying your Salmon collagen supplement. Indeed, there are many nutrients that boost your natural collagen production, these are often great alternatives to those on a plant-based diet. Discover more about biotin here: https://www.nationalnutrition.ca/articles/supplements/biotin/

I take Salmon collagen, which is Type 1 for skin health, but I didn't know about all these boosters. I take biotin already. I have the max strength 10,000mcg version, which is mixed with rice flour, i take 1/4 or 1/2 of a capsule at a time, mixed with other B vitamins. I also mix Biotin with carrot juice. I am glad it doubles up as a collagen booster. I mostly took it for my beard to keep it looking nice. Vitamin C I get from lemons, I keep the skin on and make a smoothie out of that. Grapeseed extract I take with Resveratrol or with Glutathione, but I guess I can take it with Vitamin C as well, with collagen boosting in mind. Good to know!

Hello Rachel,
Thank you for your feedback on the article. We appreciate your attention to detail and for highlighting the potential interactions of grape seed extract with blood thinning medications. It's crucial to note that individuals taking such medications should exercise caution when considering grape seed extract as a supplement and those who are on medications are encouraged to speak to their health care practitioner before starting supplements. Should you have any further questions or require additional information, please feel free to ask and in the mean time you can check out our Youtube channel with more natural health information, https://www.youtube.com/@NTLnutrition/search?query=high%20blood%20pressure

Great article!!! That said, grape seed extract can have a blood thinning effect, so it should be noted that grape seed extract can increase the risk of bleeding if taken with other blood thinners (eg warfarin [Coumadin], aspirin, and clopidogrel (Plavix). Also, I love your final note on boosting collagen naturally through diet; I think that this is the best approach of all for holistic health (and boosting your own body's ability to support collagen production).
