      <description><![CDATA[Black pepper is one of my favourite foods. I often add it to teas, any tea, it seems to help, and it adds energy in the daytime. Curcumin and Joint Pain: Supplementing with curcumin has been shown to reduce joint pain and improve joint mobility in both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This is the main reason to take Turmeric in my house. My mother suffers from both conditions and Alzheimer's on top. Turmeric when absorbed correctly can help reduce the inflammation in the body.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[That is so interesting! What a great article. I knew that black pepper helped with the absorption of turmeric and with the absorption of curcumin but I had no idea that the thing that made it so was piperine in the black pepper! I also did not know that turmeric was fat soluble so it is a great tip to add some hopefully healthy fats to your meal while cooking with turmeric to help with the absorption!]]></description>
