Magnesium bisglycinate is the form I have, but I also eat brazil nuts. Only two per day, I often take it with my Vitamin D drops. Magnesium I take at night. Calcium and lysine goes well with magnesium alongside vitamin c and bioflavinoids. I take this without food at bedtime. Magnesium combat stress and anxiety. It's good for sleep. It has calming properties. Magnesium doesn't have the best taste, I fix that by mixing it with a very tasty juice, I get the vitamin C this way as well, which goes well with magnesium

Hello Rachel,
Thank you for your valuable feedback and suggestion. We appreciate your attention to detail and concern regarding the consumption of brazil nuts. It is indeed important to consume them in moderation due to the potential risk of selenium toxicity. We have made that change to ensure the safety and well-being of our readers. In the mean time, you can have a read through our article on Brazil Nuts to learn more about their health benefits, https://www.nationalnutrition.ca/articles/supplements/supplement-articles-brazil-nuts/

As a plant-based eater I love that you include wholesome vegan sources of magnesium such as brazil nuts, brown rice, and certain dark leafy greens such as swiss chard and spinach. I would, though, suggest you make the note that brazil nuts should be consumed in moderation due to selenium toxicity (who knows? Someone may read your list and see only 6 nuts gets you 1/3rd to 1/4th a day's magnesium so why not double or triple the amount?) Anyway, awesome article overall :)

Getting more magnesium in my diet is something that I have been thinking about for a while now because I tend to stick to the same sort of foods and habits but I found a lot of benefit from taking a magnesium supplement a few times a week so instead of that I think looking into my diet and at what I can add or take away to optimize my nutrition would be really great so this is wonderful to see the different foods that contain magnesium I also see Brazil nuts everywhere as a great source of magnesium as well as selenium but only one a day or few days so that is good to know too!
