Magnesium bisglycinate is a chelate of magnesium and glycine, and this is the form I take. It is easily absorbed. It helps to combat stress and anxiety. It promotes sleep as it has calming properties. Muscle pain and relaxation is another reason why I take Magnesium. Without enough magnesium, my muscles don't relax properly. Magnesium can relieve the pain caused by muscle cramps. It can make me feel more relaxed and calm. Calcium and lysine goes well with magnesium alongside vitamin c and bioflavinoids. It's a nice mix I take 3x per week.

So many supplements! Thank you for providing some clarity in what could be a confusing landscape (here, each supplement has different strengths; it's not like one is simply "better") Also, I didn't realize that epsom salts were actually a type of magnesium; it is absolutely wild how many uses magnesium can have based on form and I can imagine taking >1 magnesium supplement in order to address multiple concerns. Especially with this considered, thank you for your notes on both considerations and dosage.
