I knew that bee pollen could be used to treat seasonal allergies, like honey, although I am not sure how strong the research is behind this. It is a nice benefit that bee pollen provides B vitamins, calcium, magnesium and iron as well as sterols and vitamin C. I think that it would be an awesome addition to this article to include the amounts of these nutrients that bee pollen contains per weight or standard serving/calories, so as to be informative. Anyway, thank you for another great article! I love that I keep learning from your articles, NN! :)

I have been informed recently about all the potential that bee pollen has for the health. It does contain a lot of different vitamins and minerals that can support our physical body and helps fight against infections and cold or flu, since it supports our immune system. Personally, sometimes when I feel the need to eat a snack or have something to bit down, I take a spoon of bee pollen and chew it like a snack. It is quite an healthy little snack when not hungry and feeling the need to have something to chew.
