      <description><![CDATA[I didn't know that chrysin was the first flavonoid found to have anxiety-reducing properties!: that's interesting. And, while I knew that flavanoids could effect the CNS, for some reason I hadn't considered the fact that the human gut microbiome (the collection of viruses and bacteria living in the human GI tract, which I study for my PhD research) might affect the CNS via flavanoids. This is an interesting angle on the brain gut connection so thank you for inspiring my next literature search!!]]></description>
