Great article! I had heard of glutamine as a supplement and it is nice for me to understand more about it. I knew that glutamine as anabolc, for one, and have often seen it in anabolic blends for body builders. Also, I have seen glutamine advertised as having benefts for the brain but did not know that glutamine could , specifically, benefit the bain through providing an energy source for neurons. Thank you for another great article! :)

Hello Stephanie,

Thank you for sharing. L-Glutamine is a great supplement to support digestion, help repair the digestive tract and is great for muscle recovery, as you mentioned. Taking it along with a good probiotic is beneficial.

Have a healthy day!

I recently became acquainted with L-Glutamine and I'm loving it. My daughter had been diagnosed with pityriasis rosea and has issues with yeast overgrowth and it's been a welcome addition to her natural remedy protocol. I've been adding it to smoothies to help with my gut issues as well and it's great for muscle recovery. I wish I would have found this sooner!
