Hello Rachel,
Indeed, although convenient and often times delicious, gummy vitamins have their drawbacks. Happy to hear you enjoyed further learning about different vitamin formats and how they may effect your health. If you'd like to learn even more on this topic, check out our video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ISn6fcvthg

I firmly agree with your statement that gummy vitamins are not...well...you say it very well! These vitamins more often than not pack a ton of sugar with the substance and sugar is "Not exactly an ingredient that's at the top of our “nutritious substances” list." (you made me laugh here!) I did not know that gummies are also lower in content then established supplements too... I'm even more glad now, after reading this, that I stick to supplements :)

Part of me already knew that gummy vitamins might be too good to be true but I never stopped to think about how apart from the excess sugar, the vitamin content themselves is less. I suppose these would be great for picky eaters as a last resort but it was really useful to have the charts there to see the comparssion between gummies and chewables! The chewable Flintstone vitamins definitely are nostalgic to me so it was fun to see the comparison!
