      <description><![CDATA[Wow! Vey interesting article. For one, I didn't know that after a radiological or nuclear event, radioactive iodine is released into the air, and taken up through our lungs when people breathe: that's pretty spooky that it can even contaminate local food supply and water supply and be ingested, then once in the body rapidly aborbed by the thyroid gland. I also did not kno that an iodine supplement can be used in order to help with fibrocystic breasts; I wonder what the mechanism for this beneficial action is? Anyway, thank you for another interesting article! :)]]></description>

I barely knew what iodine was 5 minutes ago, I am so glad I stumbled upon this article.
