      <description><![CDATA[I have heard of N-acetyl glucosamine before but never abbreviated it as NAG before and think that this is really funny, haha! It is silly to imagine a healthy NAG. As a PhD student who is studying the human gut microbiome it was interesting fo me to see that NAG could have a benefit in the context of both Crohn's disease and colitis: I wonder-does NAG have benefits in IBS too?: anyway, I will have to do more reading on NAG in IBD-I am curious if the effects on the immune system occur due to an effect that it has on the gut microbiome!]]></description>
