      <description><![CDATA[I have never really thought about protease except that I need a good one in lab for flow cytommetry experiments! ;) Thank you for teaching me about why endogenous protease matters. I can imagine why a deficincy in protease could be problematic especially because protein is so vital to every body structure, including, as you mention, muscle, bone, skin, hormones, cell signaling molecules, and immune response molecules. Given the large amount of protein typical in American diets, I would imagine protease deficiency to be more common than protein deficiency, so thank you for descibing symptoms]]></description>
