I've heard of ginseng but not suma ginseng, which I now know also may have an adaptogenic role in promoting healthy brain function but is not actually related to ginseng. It's interesting Suma supports of testosterone production in the adrenal gland; many plant foods and supplements increase testosterone via inhibiting aromatase, the enzyme that converts estrogen to testosterone. Action directly on the adrenal gland to increase hormone production is something that I have heard of less commonly. It would be awesome if you did a Brazilian Suma vs Panax Ginseng article. Anyway, enough of my rambling-thanks for anothing interesting article! :)

Suma is in my favourite adrenal support product "Adrenasense". I've tried other products that didn't have the suma, and they didn't work as well for my stress and anxiety. Suma is the best!!! Especially when combined with other adaptogens.
