I was thrilled to see you introduce this article on the thymus with T cells: T cells are born in the thymus (contrast to the bone-marrow derived leukocytes or B cells) & are ESSENTIAL in adaptive immunity. As a PhD student in microbiology and immunology at the Turnbaugh lab, my entire thesis project revolves how a certain prevalent human gut bacteria influences autoimmune response through different T cell mediated processes. So, I was thrilled to see the T cell shout out! A big thanks and thumbs up for me on this one!: immunology and especially T cells are awesome :)
