Updated Jul. 26th, 2017

If you’re the kind of household that always has lunch wraps lying around, we’ve got a fun way for you to turn them into a healthy, easy dessert. By using a few simple ingredients, and rolling them up inside, you can heat them up and serve with some vanilla non-dairy ice cream, or slice them into bite sized pieces so you can share them around – if you don’t eat them all first!

Directions

  1. Over medium-heat, bring you’re your first six ingredients to a light boil. Once boiling, cover and reduce heat. Simmer until apples are soft and the liquid is drastically reduced. Remove from heat and allow too cool.
  2. Take your goat cheese and lightly spread a layer on one side of your wraps.
  3. Now that your apples are cooled, spread the mixture on top of the cheese.
  4. Using your hands, roll the wrap up and serve warmed up with some ice cream or cut up into 8 slices and share!

Make It This Way

Take these wraps up a notch, and add some fresh, seasonal berries! If you prefer a combination of sweet and sour, try using green apples instead of red.

Try This

    Apple Wraps

This is such a great idea! I always have extra wraps lying around after taco nights and there's only so many times I can eat a lunch wrap before getting bored of it. Turning your lunch wraps into these healthy cinnamon apple wraps desserts is such a great idea and so yummy too! Toasting the wraps before or after would be so good too to add a little bit of an extra crunch to them!
