Easy-Peasy Strawberry Chia Parfait

With only four basic ingredients, this parfait has to be the easiest way to curb your hunger without even leaving your house – and did we mention its healthy too? Whip it up and enjoy as part of your breakfast (topping it with granola will add that extra crunch factor), or spruce it up a little by scooping the mixture into a beautiful glass bowl and serve it for dessert. Either way, you’ll be shocked at how good the simplest of things can taste so good.

Serves 1
Ingredients
¾ cup plain, sugar-free goat’s yogurt
3 strawberries, sliced
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/8 teaspoon white powdered stevia
- Gluten Free
- Egg Free
- Sugar Free
Directions
- In small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir well.
- Using a spatula, spoon the mixture into a glass jar/bowl, and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes prior to eating! Tip: If you want to enjoy this as part of your breakfast, either make it the night before or prepare it before you hit the shower so it will be ready when you are!
Make It This Way
You can substitute the goat's yogurt in this recipe for homemade yogurt or your favourite dairy-free yogurt. Goat's yogurt is a hypoallergenic alternative to regular yogurt because it's lactose has been broken down and is easier to digest.
If you don’t have any stevia, skip it altogether or use a natural sweetener like maple syrup, honey, agave or yacon syrup!

Try it topped or layered with raisins, granola, chia seeds, ground flax seed, nut butter, fresh berries or any other yummy superfood you can think of.

I am always looking for quick and easy breakfasts to make and grab for work and this strawberry chia parfait looks so delicious and nutritious! I love how it incorporates filling foods like yogurt and chia seeds, with the sweetness of strawberries too it will make for the perfect breakfast! First if all this parfait is just absolutely amazing! Melt in your mouth delicious! What more could u ask for to have first thing in the morning to get your day off to a great start?! I'm absolutely obsessed with this recipe! I make it every morning before going to work and I enjoy every gulp of it! It's so refreshing and if u love chia seeds like I do this is a definite treat!
