Ingredients:
1 cup non-dairy mlik | 1 cup frozen raspberries | 2 leaves kale |
1 ripe pear, sliced with core removed | 1 cup baby spinach | ½ teaspoon gluten-free pure vanilla extract |
Directions
Make It This Way
The choices of non-dairy milks are endless. Try it with coconut milk for an extra creamy texture or try almond, soy, or rice milks. Just be careful to make sure they are unflavoured and non-sweetened, as this could drastically change the taste of your smoothie and provide you with unneeded sugars.
If you’re having trouble with your spinach staying fresh, try using frozen spinach.
Try This
Enjoy this smoothie with a bar, handful of nuts or egg whites for part of a well-balanced breakfast. This smoothie is a great way to give someone a serving of vegetables without them even noticing – so if kids are having a hard time reaching their daily quota, why not try to do it with a smoothie!
I am a raspberry fanatic so anything with raspberries in it I am already drawn too! I love how this recipe only requires a few ingredients. The vanilla bean really elevates recipes and I love adding vanilla to anything I can! I also love kale, this is so great for you and offers such a unique taste as well. The raspberries and vanilla will no doubt cover up the kale and spinach taste so if you are not a fan of the taste then that is okay you can still enjoy the wonderful health benefits of it!
