My Mother always used to make applesauce with cinnamon for my younger Brother and I to have with dinner, as an important source of fruit and fiber. I hated it. The unsweetened, cinnamon-headed mush was not so appealing in my opinion. This version seems just as healthy but a major upgrade in terms of taste: as I have learned through homecooking and reading, fat is important for making flavors blend together well & contributes to mouthfeel so the flax and cashew are quite the boost! :)

Hello,

This is a unique recipe but it's packed with flavour. It can be served room temperature or warm and makes for a great dip in the fall or winter season. Excellent substitute for chocolate fondue dip. These apple wedges would compliment it nicely too, drizzled over top:

This cashew apple dip is such a great idea! I love how it is not your traditional dip but it incorporates fruit and nuts in it! It is such a great dip recipe idea to have on hand to boost your snacks and make them more nutritious and filling with the vitamins, protein, and healthy fats that this recipe has to offer. I love how it can be so versatile and be good for dipping fruit or chips in it!
