      <description><![CDATA[Great article and I appreciate you including a vegan sources list. Please, though, make this list up to date!!: yes, seeds are one vegan source of omega 3s but as you mention, seeds are not particularly rich in DHA and EPA, the long chain omega 3s in reference. Rather, microalgae and algae are plant-based, rich in omega 3s and, as of me writing this, commercially available. The extra awesome pair of facts is 1.  that fish get their omega 3s from the algae that they eat and 2. their are no pesticides for algae so all algae is pesticide free and it's a HUGE carbon sink too :)]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[I started taking omega 3 supplements a few months ago as I noticed I had a bottle that was going to expire soon and I didn't want to waste it. At the time I was also going thru a deep depression. I had no idea that omega 3's could help with depression until I read this article. I have to say I have noticed a HUGE difference in my depression since I started taking the omega 3 supplements and I never knew why I was feeling better and attributed it to time just passing but after reading this, it completely makes sense. Since I started taking these supplements I have definitely noticed a huge decreased in my depression.]]></description>
