It's a great one to put on fruits, it brings out the natural sweetness in them. doesn't burn the tongue like the iodized salts.
no bitter aftertaste like the table salts we have.
I used it in my colon cleansing and it worked although i don't recommend that process, there are better ways to detoxify your digestive system.
Not sure about its minerals, i see no visible effect of consuming the claimed minerals in the salt.

I love Himalayan salt as a go-to "everyday salt": I prefer it to sea salt and it is less expensive than my finishing favorite, black lava salt and my favorite "flavored" salt, kala namak. Thank you for teaching me so many new things about Himalayan salt!! I was unaware of its hygroscopic nature and it is so cool that the salt can actually be used as a natural dehumidifier as a result. I was also unaware that the salt is actually from a mountain range in Pakistan as opposed to the Himalayan mountains. Finally, I didn't know that Himalayan salt could actually be orange!!! (I think I am actually going to use orange Himalayan salt in some Halloween desserts next year!!) I've used Himalayan Pink Salt (my favourite) as well as Celtic salt (also ok). I also used grey salt, which I think may be related to ethe Celtic salt since it was from France. The pink salt is my favourite. It has the most flavour, smells nice, and actually feels like real salt, the best I can get anyways. I use it to make homemade toothpaste and deodorant. I mix it with baking soda (lots of it) and some coconut oil. Make sure it's unrefined, organic, virgin, king coconut oil. I get the whole kernal for maximum health benefits from the coconut. Mix all that with salt to get a nice homemade creation.
