Frizzy Dry Hair
The body naturally produces an oily secretion called sebum that moisturizes and nourishes the hair as it grows. This is the familiar oil that builds up on your hair between washings. It acts as a protective barrier to keep moisture in the hair, and helps to prevent frizzing and breakage. When there isn't enough sebum present, the hair can become frizzy and dry, which eventually leads to increased breakage. This can be caused by the body not producing enough sebum, as in cases of Hypothyroidism or other hormonal imbalances, or by external treatments stripping away this protective layer. Normal shampooing removes only a part of the sebum surrounding the hair shaft, leaving some behind to protect the hair and produce shine. Excessively shampooing or using harsh chemicals on the hair for cleansing or processing (straightening, perms, or dying) can strip the sebum layer and damage the hair shaft itself.

Dandruff
We are all familiar with the small white flakes that accumulate on shoulders and as commercials would have us believe, prevent us from wearing black. Although a dry scalp may occur to any of us at times, true dandruff is an inflammatory condition that causes increased shedding of the skin of the scalp. There are a number of potential causes of this condition, and because of this, there are also a number of different treatment options.

Great product, and great smell, no need for perfume after washing your hair with this! The conditioner is excellent and very nourishing. On my hair, it's amazing. I have used my first of this shampoo/conditioner and I'm very satisfied. I tend to wash my hair often (every other day) and with this product, I don't have dried out hair. The conditioner watered down also makes a great leave in for Twist Out styles too. I have typical black (4c) hair and it loves Aubrey Organics. The more I shampoo, the better my hair looks and feels. This totally transformed my hair from dry and dull, to hair that has shine, bounce and it actually has gotten thicker and hardly no split ends! (a hair trim is way overdue lol) The best stuff!

I love this product. I have coarse curly Mediterranean hair. In first usage my hair felt very smooth, manageable and shiny. The only downside my curls lost its definition little bit. But because of other features and its ingredients it is now my favorite shampoo. Now I've ordered styling products too to reactivate my curls. I see no issue using styler everyday since it is organic and nourishing.

I am a Nigerian American college student who wears her hair in its natural, tightly coiled state. I do not straighten my hair at all. With that said, I love Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo! It is a low-lather shampoo but that's because it is made of all natural, organic ingredients that promote healthy hair. I usually do a pre-poo of olive oil and coconut oil to prepare my hair for the shampooing process. However, when I used Aubrey Shampoo I did not pre-poo. To my surprise, my hair felt softer than it has ever felt right after a shampoo! I love this shampoo because it is gentle and very moisturizing. It did a great job of cleansing without stripping the moisture from my hair. The light floral aroma that is leaves behind is not bad either. I have found my holy grail shampoo and will be a loyal user for life. Thanks Aubrey Organics for formulating such a wonderful product!
