I have the unfortunate combination of sensitive skin and a heavy, fast growing beard. This shaving cream is excellent. It doesn't "froth up" like spray shaving creams often do, it goes on more like a face lubricant, but it works really well. I definitely noticed a difference my shave is closer, with far fewer abrasions, bumps, and free of that red, irritated, blotchy look. My face looks and feels smoother after my shave. My wife ran her hand across my cheek and said "Oooh, nice!" So there you go! Nice brisk scent too, lasts a little while, but not so long that it would interfere with a cologne. I use it in combination with the North Woods after shave balm. It works very well for me.
After a period of wet-shaving with a brush, I'm back to this superior product and am revelling in its fantastic glide, moisturizing property and 'woodsy' scent. For me this is the absolute best shaving cream 'out there'!
I have bought this shave cream for my husband for a few years now and he absolutely loves it for his face and whole head! I am a woman who bought this shave cream just a couple months before the new women's shaving creams were introduce! Oops. I like strong, woodsy, or masculine scents, and since I planned to use it on my legs, which would be, well, walking around and "airing off," I figured it wouldn't be the end of the world if they smelled nice and piney. :) I like the cream, since I'm still using the large tube, and find that it moisturizes very well, as others said, and helps prevent razor rash. I still use a cream on my legs afterwards, since I have really sensitive skin, but this shaving power on this cream works fantastically! I haven't yet tried the women's creams. I'll be interested to compare, and see what the difference is. ;)

This is THE best shaving cream out there, period! Give it a try, shave, then rinse with cool water and feel the sensation. I think I should work for Aubrey, that's how much I love their products :)
