Biosil Throughout The Years

The inspiration for Biosil began in 1990. In 1994, Bio Minerals NV was founded and developed its patented ch-OSA, choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid, for use in its products. A year later, Biosil vegan drops were launched and rolled out to health food stores across the USA. A decade later, they released their vegan capsule supplements and introduced their product line to Canada.

Throughout the 2000s various clinical trials were conducted on Biosil to see how efficacious it was. The first study done on Biosil was conducted in 2005 by a group of European university researchers. It was a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study that found Biosil could improve skin, hair, and nails. From then to 2017, many more trials were completed and found that Biosilenhancess hair strength, thickness and elasticity; increases bone collagen and mineral density at the hip; supports knee function and reduces joint discomfort in men.

By 2019, Bio Minerals expanded its manufacturing laboratory to an FDA-inspected, solar-powered, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. During this same year, they also launched their third format and introduced vegan liquid capsules to the natural supplement market.
