Salus Brand History

Floradix iron is made by Salus Haus, a German company situated in Bruckmühl, Germany that was founded in 1916. For over one hundred years, they have been making top-quality herbal wellness products. By merging traditional herbal wisdom with scientific data, they have created a line of health supplements that have helped many people over the years.

Since the beginning, Salus has been committed to supporting cultivation, environmental sustainability, biodiversity and social responsibility. They support the environment by using glass and recycled cardboard packaging and they are part of an environmental management system (EMAS) where they have participated in eco-audits. These audits collect data about their use of resources, energy, emissions and waste and are published every three years. Salus also purchased and preserves one of the last natural alluvial forests in the Bavarian region of Germany, ensuring it’s kept undisturbed and remains a natural habitat for animals, plants, insects, and mushrooms.

In 2010, Salus made an herb garden for a non-profit organization supporting children and young adults to help them learn about preparing and growing their food and identifying plant sources.
