The History of NutraCleanse

NutraCleanse is based on a century-old Finnish recipe known for its high fibre content and digestive benefits. It was started in Mission, British Columbia, but in 2018, Brightside Natural Food bought O3NC. Three sisters purchased the company from their cousin. The sister’s goals were to expand distribution, make the product organically, and manufacture it in a gluten-free facility. They also switched to a smaller package to make it more enticing for new customers to try their product.

Beyond those changes, the current owners of NutraCleanse had one goal when purchasing this company, they wanted to make it easier and convenient for Canadians to fill the fibre nutritional gap in their diet.

Ingredients & Manufacturing Process

NutraCleanse is made with ingredients that are from local sources when possible. In fact, 78% of the ingredients used in their products are sourced from Canada. This high-fibre product is packed with nutrients, tastes great, and easily mixes into everyday foods. NutraCleanse is made with flax seed, ground psyllium husks, dandelion root powder, burdock root powder, and fenugreek seed powder. All of the ingredients are certified organic through Pro-Cert Organic Systems Ltd.

Aside from being organic, NutraCleanse products are ground, mixed and packaged in Chilliwack, BC in Anita’s Organic’s certified gluten-free facility. Each final product is vegan, gluten-free, zero carb, low FODMAP, and all-natural.
