Promax Nutrition’s History

Founded over twenty years ago by Mike Walls, Promax Nutrition is headquartered in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. It was established so that everyday consumers could live life to the fullest by fueling themselves with healthy snack bars.

It took over two years for the Promax Nutrition team to perfect its recipe because they wanted to create a formula that would provide on-the-go nutrition to busy professionals rather than just bodybuilders and athletes alone.

Ingredient Quality & Manufacturing Standards

Promax Nutrition bars offer 20g of high-quality complete proteins and 18 vitamins and minerals. It includes all these vitamins and minerals because these ingredients work synergistically to further support energy production, metabolism regulation, digestion, immunity, and more.

Promax doesn’t use gelatin as a protein source, because it isn’t a complete protein. Instead, it uses proteins like soy, whey, and/or milk casein. All of these are complete proteins and offer a high Protein Digestibility-Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS) of 1, which indicates they are all complete proteins.

Customers can have confidence knowing these bars are made with different sweeteners to optimize the glycemic response; however, they never include sucralose, aspartame, ace-K, or sodium benzoate, and they’re also free from artificial flavours, sweeteners, and colours.

Furthermore, each product is certified kosher and gluten-free by GFCO (Gluten Free Certifying Organization). This organization requires each ingredient to be evaluated and approved, and each product must be manufactured in accordance with their strict standards to ensure no cross-contamination. Promax Nutrition then tests its final products to ensure they comply with GFCO certification.
