Sunwarrior’s Beginnings

Founded by Denley Fowlke and Nick Stern, Sunwarrior was started on the other side of Denley’s health scare. During his younger years, he was given six months to live, so he overhauled his diet and lifestyle and beat those devastating odds. Later, his twin girls became ill with a life-threatening illness and through the knowledge he gained earlier in his life, he was able to save them.

Fast forward to 2007, the co-founders met, and while they each knew the power of nutrition at this point, they also noticed there was a gap in the market for clean, plant-based proteins that contained a complete amino acid profile and tasted good.It was through the collision of all these circumstances that Sunwarrior was founded.

Sunwarrior believes the answer to good health is found in nature through the power of plants. They started with the will to make nutrition easy, convenient and tasty so people would stick to it. Since the beginning, their mission and vision have remained the same: create healthy products that taste good and help people become their best selves and perform at an optimal level to live their best lives.

Today, they have grown into a global brand and work with distributors all over the world. They are still committed to making the best supplements plants can offer and continue to source nothing but the finest organic ingredients.

Sunwarrior’s products are all made in the USA at their facility in Southern Utah using quality ingredients that are sourced from around the globe. They work with trusted suppliers when selecting ingredients. Sunwarrior ensures each raw ingredient is organic, sustainably farmed, and harvested during peas season from its native region. Once each raw material arrives at their facility it is tested for purity before it’s considered for their formulas.

When they made their original formula, they conducted multiple tests for purity, potency, efficacy and taste. With science and persistence, they were able to create the first raw, plant-based protein powder. They follow this same framework for all new formulations as well.

Their manufacturing facility allows them to stay in control of the entire process. They use science-backed technology and stay up to date on emerging research and technologies to keep their facility up to date.
