To say that baby wipes are widely used worldwide would be a gross understatement. In fact, according to The Business Research Company, the global baby wipes market was valued at $5.37 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach a whopping $5.62 billion in 2023 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.6%.
Of course, there are plenty of good reasons to use baby wipes, not the least of which is that repeated exposure to excess moisture and irritants from urine and feces weakens the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the epidermis), making skin prone to irritation and inflammation.
