Alpha Science Laboratories is a division of Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals and was created in 1997. Founded by Dr Gordon Chang, who graduated from U of T and received a research fellowship from The Hospital for Sick Children to research cell adhesion, biomaterials and blood material interactions. Later in his post-doctoral fellowship, he led research in antioxidants, free radical chemistry and oxidative injury.
