I Love Rosemary
One of my favourite herbs, I love rosemary. The quality is good with this brand. Rosemary Tea is not as potent as the essential oil or even the tincture, but it is a very satisfying tea, especially in the daytime. Don't take it at night as it may keep you up. It mixes well with Thyme, Mullein and even Ginger. You can take it with Vitamin C. It goes well with garlic and lemon. It's excellent for when you have a cold.

Rosemary Tea

Rosemary has been associated since ancient times with remembrance, faithfulness, and love. It was first grown in England in the 14th century.

An old English wives tale exists that this plant will only flourish in the garden of a household where the "mistress" is really the "master."

Colonists brought Rosemary to the New World where it is now a renowned culinary herb and is taken as a great tea.

All the herbs in this tea are organically grown and prepared, ensuring their natural taste and active properties are enjoyed in every cup of tea. Our organic audit trail enables traceability from the field to your table.

Directions:
Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea. We recommend using spring or filtered water.
Be sure to relax! Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it.
This is a delicate herb and is more potent when exposed to high temperatures for a short period of time. So that your tea has its maximum medicinal properties and flavour, be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your teabags.
If you desire a medicinal tea, be sure to use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7-12 minutes. This is known as the infusion method.
If you desire a pleasure tea or quick brew, use one teabag per cup of hot water. Pour water over teabags, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste. Enjoy!

All about Rosemary
Rosemary can really settle an upset stomach...

Rosemary is a popular herb in the kitchen as well as the medicine cabinet. It has a long history of use in foods because it stimulates digestion and reduces spasms of the gallbladder, stomach and intestines. Rosemary chemical components increase the release of digestive juices. Rosemary also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used for muscle and joint injuries like athletic injuries and arthritis.

Rosemary stimulates circulation through the heart can improve the symptoms of heart disease. Historically rosemary was used topically as a wash or gargle, for wounds and sores and, as an inhalation, during respiratory infections. It has the ability to prevent and fight infections. Currently research is being done on rosemary as an antioxidant for possible healthy cell growth.

Rosemary can be purchased as dried herb, fresh herb, encapsulated leaf or essential oil. Dried ground rosemary that is used as a spice has less medicinal value because the essential oils are lost in the drying process. The essential oil is the most potent form of the herb and must be used cautiously due to possible toxicity. Externally rosemary can be gargled, added to a bath or used as a steam inhalation.

Rosemary, when used as a spice, has very few side effects. Most side effects and cautions are relevant only when rosemary supplements are used. Rosemary essential oil is toxic in high doses.

Rosemary should not be used in pregnancy because it may lead to miscarriage. Individuals who are at an increased risk of stroke, have active bleeding, blood clotting disorders or those who use blood thinners should use should use rosemary with caution.
