Eye Solace is an oil-free eye care product with healing plants and natural ingredients. It works to refresh and strengthen eye area while relieving irritation. How To Use

Turn the wings of the opthiole and pressing gently with the fingers drink on to the cotton pad supplied. Peel apart well soaked cotton pad and place on closed eyes. Leave on for about 10 minutes.

Active Ingredient Spotlight

Euphrasia Officinalis (Eyebright) Extract
Eyebright is a natural astringent that cleaness the skin and constricts the pores. It helps soothe sensitive, allergy-prone areas around the eye and contains tannins that calm irritated eyes.

Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Seed Extract
Fennel seeds are rich in saponins and phytoestrogens (plant estrogens) and have been traditionally used as an eye wash for soothing irritations and infections.

Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract
Also known as Woundwort or Kidney Vetch. Vulneraria means "wound healer". This plant is a member of the legume family and native to Southern Europe. Anthyllis is little known today, but was traditionally used to relieve spasms, detoxify, reduce swelling and promote wound healing. Elisabeth Sigmund studied anthyllis extensively. She observed a normalization of both oily and dry conditions and even severely irritated skin. Anthyllis has a generally stimulating and normalizing effect on the skin and the ability to stimulate the skin's natural functions and support its regeneration. It is a key plant in Dr.Hauschka Skin Care and found in many of our face care preparations and decorative cosmetics.

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria/German Chamomile) Flower Extract
Many people are familiar with matricaria, also known as German chamomile, as a traditional herbal remedy. It is of particular benefit to delicate and sensitive skin because of its anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties.

Camellia Sinensis (Black Tea) Leaf Extract
An extract of black tea is rich in antioxidants and tannins having astringent, toning, skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory and strengthening properties.

Rosa Damascena Flower Oil (Rose Essential Oil)
Also known as attar of rose, distilled from the damask rose, this is a most expensive and rare essential oil containing many healing properties of the rose in concentrated form. Every drop of rose oil is the concentrated fragrance of countless hand-sorted rose blossoms. As part of our essential oil mixtures, this precious oil is contained in most Dr.Hauschka Skin Care products. Several cultivation projects have been initiated to provide us with organic rose oil. The fine, delicate rose essential oil with its flowery fragrance is valued for its harmonizing action. Rose essential oil is considered a panacea with antidepressant, tonifying, laxative, anti-inflammatory and anti-parasitic properties. It also has helps promote inner relaxation and balance. There are more than 400 individual components (constituents) in rose essential oil.
