Candle Light

This best thing about the candle was the packaging which would make it nice for gift giving.

I did not like the overly perfumery smell personally (I could not find any ingredient listing online which I would appreciate) but it was otherwise clean burning. Also it was a disappointment to learn this candle is 100% sourced and made in China and not Canada (The company LaLuna only designs the product and imports to Canada).

What La Luna Candles Are Made Of?

Our candles are made of 100% vegetable and non-GMO soy and coconut waxes. Our candles are vegan and allow a cleaner combustion.

Our wicks are made of lead-free cotton whose weave is specifically adapted to the size of the candle and its fragrance.

Our perfumes are created by French master perfumers cast in the mass for a controlled and homogeneous combustion

Why Soy And Coconut?

Vegetable waxes are part of a new generation of ecological waxes made from vegetable, natural and above all renewable materials. They are fully biodegradable and therefore do not emit soot. These are the waxes that we prefer.

The waxes that we have chosen have a low melting temperature and allow a prolonged combustion time while ensuring an excellent diffusion of the perfumes.

Soy wax is an all natural wax made from hydrogenated soybean oil. It is ideal for making jar candles.

Coconut wax comes from sustainably produced coconuts, so there is no problem of deforestation with coconut.

How To Reuse La Luna's Containers?

When the candle is emptied of its wax the concrete container can still be useful be useful: pencil holder, flower pot, pocket pockets. The possibilities are only limited by your by your imagination!
