They Work and Blood Work to Prove It
Every time I had blood work done the doctor said my Uric acid was high and I should take a daily gout pill. A friend told me about cherry pills so I started taking them. The next time I had blood work the doctor said my Uric acid was down a 100 points. The next time my uric acid was normal. The only thing that I changed in my lifestyle was the cherry pills. I have been taking them for about 20 years and haven’t had gout. Since.

Keeps Mom's Gout Under Control
These have been great for my Mom to help with her gout. She takes this every day as well as drinking celery seed tea. Whenever she gets lax she has a flare up. She has tried other cherry products but this Cherry Rich as proven to be the best.

Good For Gout and Uric Acid
These are great at healing and preventing gout and high uric acid levels. When I feel a big toe attack coming, I take up to 4 a day - and I also take one a day to keep it from happening. Blood tests have shown my uric acid levels have dropped too, so I'm never without a bottle ready at home. Wish they'd make the pills smaller though.

Excellent Product
I have been using this product for a while as a preventive measure for gout. I was using the Dark Cherry Juice (Yum), but the one time I ordered, they were out of stock so I decided to try these, after I spoke to one of their staff - who are so helpful and wonderful. These are more convenient for my lifestyle and do the same job as the juice. I still haven't had a reoccurrence of gout. I would highly recommend this product.

Can't Believe How Much This Helped Me!
Just over a week ago, I sadly experienced my first experience of gout waking up in the night with excruciating pain in my big toe. I actually thought I had somehow broken it as I could hardly walk to get my painkillers. Anyhow I took them and searched the internet and confirmed it was gout, but it was impossible for me to drive to the doctor so I just iced it and took more painkillers.

At the same time I searched and found that cherry juice/concentrate would help so I ordered from here right away and was so pleased that it arrived the next day. Well, my foot is pain-free, no longer red and swollen. Also I took 2 together late last night and had the most wonderful sleep even though I was having insomnia for a long time. So I'm hopeful that it will also reduce my uric acid levels soon. It's a rebuy for me now.

CherryRich Information and Support

Cherries are more than just a highly anticipated, short-lived summer treat. Increasingly, researchers are discovering that cherries are bursting with phytonutrients that promote good health and slow aging. Cherries both sweet and tart are high in vitamin C, beta-carotene, potassium, and pectin. Cherries also contain significant levels of boron, which favourably affects bone health. They are considered to be low on the glycemic index, making them an ideal fruit snack for anyone with blood sugar problems. Cherries are also an excellent source of quercetin, a flavonoid with strong antioxidant activity. Quercetin is being studied for its role in reducing the risk for heart attack, and stroke. Other phytonutrients found in sweet cherries include ellagic acid and perillyl alcohol, natural compounds that have immune boosting properties.

Dark, sweet varieties, better known as Bing cherries, contain specific healthy attributes that are largely due to anthocyanin pigments that contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

The Benefits of CherryRich:
- Helps reduce the inflammation and pain of arthritis and other inflammatory diseases
- Reduces uric acid levels in individuals suffering from gout
- Contains protective levels of highly bioavailable antioxidants which may defend against many diseases of aging, including heart disease, strokes, and diabetes
- Contains quercetin, ellagic acid and perillyl alcohol, natural compounds with immune boosting properties
- Excellent source of cherry antioxidants without the sugar and calories commonly found in cherry juice

Antioxidants

What are they?
Antioxidants are a large class of substances that help to neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules with an unpaired electron that are extremely reactive, and damage surrounding cell membranes, fats, and fat-soluble vitamins and nutrients. We encounter free radicals through environmental exposures, such as cigarette smoke, air pollution, processed foods, and ultraviolet radiation from the sun (UV rays).

What are the affects of free radicals?
Because of the highly reactive nature of free radicals, they can cause damage to any aspect of our cells and tissues. When the damage affects the cellular DNA, unhealthy cells may be the result. When the damage is to cell membranes and nutrients, an inflammatory response results, which can cause a wide variety of different diseases. Eventually, with prolonged free radical attack, the body begins to break down and this results in the physical signs of aging.

What do they do?
Antioxidants play a huge role in our everyday cellular processes. Because of their far-reaching effects, it is difficult to study the effects of supplementation directly. Instead, research has focused on what occurs when antioxidant levels are low and oxidative stress becomes high in the body. This condition has been associated with stroke, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease, arthritis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, diabetes, and the physical signs of aging. Thus, it seems rational to suppose that increasing the intake of antioxidants can help to protect against the development of these conditions. Because of their ability to neutralize free radicals, antioxidants act as guardians in our bodies by protecting our cells, DNA, and nutrients from attack. Thus, antioxidants almost act as a "fountain of youth" by protecting us from the physical causes of aging and many diseases.

Superfruits

What are they?
Recent research has revealed a group of fruits that are so exceptionally high in antioxidants and so packed with other nutrients that specialists are referring to them as "superfruits". Some of the more exotic examples of these are: aa, goji, noni and sea-buckthorn.

What are antioxidants?
Antioxidants are substances that have the ability to neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals are reactive substances that damage nutrients and body tissues.

We are exposed to free radicals in air pollution, UV rays, cigarette smoke, and even as byproducts of our own metabolism. Free radical damage results in unhealthy cell growth, cardiovascular disease, physical degeneration, and the visible signs of aging. In order to know how powerful of an antioxidant each substance is, and for the purpose of comparison, we use its oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC).

ORAC
Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) is a laboratory test that is used as the general standard for measuring antioxidant capacity. Although ORAC is not a universal standard, it is a commonly acceptable way of comparing water-soluble antioxidants like anthocyanins to each other. On this scale, all of the superfruits register many times the antioxidant capacity of ordinary fruits and vegetables. This indicates that compared by weight, they probably do offer a greater health benefit. Different extracts and brands of each superfruit rate differently on the ORAC scale, likely because of the different ways that they have been processed. It has been recommended that the average person get at least 1670 ORAC per day with additional health benefits occurring around 2,000 3,000 ORAC per day or more.
