While I like the taste of this product and have used packets of ‘Better Stevia’ from same company,, I don’t like their containers / packets. This container is difficult to open and difficult to ensure using only a small amount. Too many times opening / closing this bottle has resulted in spilling all over counter. I won’t buy again.

Dissolves More Easily Than Other Brands
I had been a loyal customer of Organika stevia but they discontinued their stevia. Tried “now” Better Stevia and was pleasantly surprised. It is quite a bit more expensive than Organika was, but it is more free-flowing and dissolves faster with less clumping. Taste is comparable. A little goes a long way. The tiny scoop is a helpful reminder of that.

My go to stevia
I really like this Stevia, it is very concentrated you really only need a tiny bit. This stevia has also had the bitterness removed is I think how it has been described by the maker, and that really is true! No bitter aftertaste that can come with stevia. It’s been my go to for years.
Stevia rebaudiana is a small shrub native to Paraguay and Brazil, where it has a long history of use among the Guarani Paraguayan Indians. Stevioside is the component of stevia that has been attributed to the unique qualities of this traditional herbal product.
Now Foods has concentrated the stevoides in this product and packaged it in convenient single serving packets.
The stevia plant is most widely used a non-sugar sweetener in a variety of foods and drinks. Stevia has no calories and does not affect blood sugar like most natural sweeteners (sugar and honey).
The active constitutes in Stevia include various glycosides, particularly stevoside, are what give stevia its unique sweetness. Stevoside is between 100 and 200 times sweeter than sugar.
