Poor digestion is a big problem because of many factors. Aging is one of them. It can also be caused by too much sugar, and too many simple carbs. Too poor a diet and processed foods can affect digestion. Digestive enzymes that are secreted from our pancreas, and we also need the help of our liver and gallbladder to be able to digest foods. Those are 2 organs that begin the process, so-to-speak, and they have fewer secretions. The pancreas and the secretion of digestive enzymes are the other factors.
What is DigestMore?
It is a digestive enzyme that we are using with a meal. Let's say you're eating a meal with proteins, starches, and fats. Some people may be eating a high protein diet. This diet is very high in protease, which is a protein-digesting enzyme and is very good for people who are on more of a low carb diet and eating higher amounts of protein.
There is also a wide array of other enzymes for starches such as amylases. Lipases for fats and cellulose, which is in vegetable fiber that we don't actually digest with our own enzymes, are the also contained in it. DigestMore is sort of, like the cleanup crew. What digestive enzymes do is that they go in there and they chomp up leftover food, and change it into the nutrients that you need to help your body overall. A very important additive to your diet as you grow older.
Who can take it?
Many people take it without having any digestive symptoms. Many people have digestive problems but they don't have digestive symptoms. Typically, you would think that if you’ve got a problem such as a leaky gut, or an inflammatory condition going on in your digestive tract, you would know it. You would have something like gas and bloating, or constipation, or something like that as a symptom. But a lot of people don't. They don't realize that the headaches, or the muscle pain, or something like that, which is not typically associated with their GI tract, is actually coming from their GI tract. It can be very, very hard to figure out. Taking this product with all its digestive enzymes is almost like having a preventative. It's like putting something in there that's going to help you clean up anything that's left over from what you've been eating.
What is the dosage?
It is taken with meals. One is plenty to take with a meal every day.
How do people feel after taking it?
Those who take it to generally treat a digestive condition like gas and bloating after they have eaten or even sometimes reflux, feel the difference immediately. You'll get an immediate result if you're having a GI issue. Many a times, even if you're not having those symptoms, you’ll be getting the benefit of digesting all of your foods, by taking a digestive enzyme. It is very potent. That's why you only have to take 1 capsule with each meal.
