    Traumeel
Traumeel is used for the temporary relief of aches and pains associated with sports injuries, repetitive use injuries, sprains, back aches, muscles aches, and bruises in addition to minor arthritic pain and inflammation.

Much more than an arnica ointment or gel, Traumeel is a homeopathic combination formula of 12 botanical and 1 mineral substances. It is the most complete homeopathic gel on the market.

    Clinical Studies
Traumeel was originally developed by renowed German physician/researcher Dr. H.H Reckweg. It is backed up by more than two dozen scientific and and clincal studies.

In a double-blind clinical study, researchers discovered Traumeel far outperformed a palcebo. Hence, the difference in the number of pain-free patients by day was do noteworthy, that researchers concluded: "the probability for successful therapy with Traumeel is significantly greater."

    How effective is Traumeel?
Backed by 40 years of wordwide use, Traumeel has proven effective in many clinical studies, though its exact mechanism of action is not fully understood. Various cellular and biochemical pathways appear to be modulated by Traumeel's natural ingredients commonly used to alleviate symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions. Traumeel is a great alternative to NASIDs. (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)

    Muscle and Joint Injuries
Muscles and joints can become injured whenever the body is in motion. When you're in the gym, on the track, on the slopes or kick boxing in the dojo, sweating and pushing yourself, injury is always a possibility. Strains and sprains are the most common types of sports injuries. They can occur in almost every type of sport - from hockey to golf, from karate to bowling. Sprains refer to the damage caused to a tendon or ligament, usually a minor or partial tear. Tendons hold bone and muscle together. Ligaments hold bones together. When there is a minor tear as there is in a sprain, it will cause inflammation, pain and swelling, but also impaired movement because the affected are does not have the full support that it needs for healthy movement. Sprains cause sharp pain and rapid swelling of the area. Strains refer to overworking a muscle. It causes muscle cramps, localized pain during movement, swelling and loss of mobility. Another joint injury is bursitis- often called tennis elbow, a swelling of the fluid-filled sac inside the joint. It usually causes localized pain on movement of the joint and swelling. Outright tears of ligaments and tendons are rare, but do happen. Reattachment of the ligament or tendon through surgery is the only realistic option if this is the case.

Joint injuries can become chronic if they don't heal properly the first time. With the right therapy & supplements, re-injury can be avoided.
